Niniola is a Nigerian songwriter and singer, who rose to fame after she a won a third place in the sixth season of MTN's Project fame West Africa in the year 2013. 

    Her background

She is known as niniola on stage, but her real name is Niniola Apata, she was born Apata was born and brought up in Lagos State, Nigeria on the 15th of December 1986 to Mr. and Mrs. Apata.



She had her primary and secondary school education at the Apata Memorial High School, which was owned by her father who was a resigned military Brigadier General before he was assassinated in 1995. 



She had her tertiary education at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, where obtained a Bachelor of education. 

She was brought up in a poor family with many siblings one of which is songstress Teni Apata  who is also a famous artist in Nigeria

Her Career


Niniola had passion for music right from her childhood,when she and her siblings used to sit down in the hallway of their house at their leisure time to sing at the top of their voices.
While she was in high school, she to took part in extra curricular activities like cultural dance as though singing was her major priority.

She always love taking part in singing competitions that were organised by various fames, and one among this competitions brought to her breakthrough in the music industry, when she won a third place in the sixth season of MTN's Project fame West Africa in the 2013.

Her first single "Ibadi" steered a very serious impression on her fans and many others which brought back positive reviews and critics.
